Classic Sudoku is a game that many people love and Sudoku X is one of the classic games. The game has a 9X9 grid which has been divided into 9 smaller 3X3 grids. In these grids you will see some numbers. These act as clues since you have to fill each grid with the numbers 1 to 9 without repeating any of the numbers. The clue numbers give you an idea about the numbers that are missing. However, you cannot place these numbers haphazardly since they should also not be repeated across the rows and columns of the larger 9X9 grid. This may be somewhat challenging for most people but these are the simple rules. You now have to work your way across the grid and solve the whole puzzle. There are no two solutions for a single puzzle. Anyone in the world will fill the same puzzle in an identical way. You get to fill a square by selecting a number on the pad on the left of the game and then clicking on the square. The clue numbers are in red and the ones that you put will be highlighted in blue. This is so that you can edit the numbers quickly if you have to; to erase a number use the X button and click on the number. The game has a timer and this serves to show you how much time you took to solve the whole puzzle. There is also a hint button which you can use, but once you do so, the timer adds 100 seconds to your time. You can use it as many times as you want but all these numbers will be entered as clue numbers and will not be attributed to you. Try and avoid the use of this facility.
