Sudoku Sunrise gives you the ability to determine the features that you want in the game. The game starts with a screen asking you what mode you would like to play; Easy, Medium, Hard and Very Hard. Once you select a mode, you go to the game and there are features that you can change. You can decide whether you would like to get hints for the game, and either turn this feature on or off. You can also use the pencil method; another feature that you can turn on and off. If you had already used the pencil marks and want to go back to the scan method, you can clear all the pencil marks with the click of a button. You can also say whether you want to use the mouse or the keyboard to input numbers in the grid. When you use the mouse, you click on a box and a pad will emerge with the numbers 1 to 9 and you click on the number that you want to use. To delete a number, you use the X mark that is found on the keypad. To use the keyboard, you navigate across the grid using the arrow keys, and then input the numbers using the Numpad. This is a great game for training purposes since it allows you to save the game and you can come back to it later. You can also add a random number to help you get along; this is not a hint. You can also print the game so that you can continue playing it when you are on the road. Eventually you will get to finish it. This is a very flexible game allowing you to go back as many times as you would want to, if you feel that you made a mistake somewhere.
